HISTORY:

The concept for Drunk Dumb Fucks (DDF) came about while Morton was filming and premoting for local music artists in Portland, Oregon in the summer of 2007. While filming stunts for an artist's DVD he was producing, Morton decided to film a movie specifically about being drunk and doing Crazy Stunts. He began gathering his friends together to film, and out of this came a sixteen minute movie of drinking and stupid stunts called NeedABeerToDo. It was after this that Morton decided to make a full feature length stunt movie that could rival the likes of Jackass, the Dudesons, and Dirty Sanchez; thus DDF was born.

The DDF crew was formed in November 2007 with friends Morton had met during premoting, aswell as his old highschool friend Hicxs. On that first day of filming they started by riding shopping carts into bushes and throwing stuff at each other. Over the next few months the stunts got progressivly more and more professonal and hardcore. Shopping carts into bushes became lighting themselves on fire and throwing stuff at each other became taking weed whackers to the back. As filming continued, the stunts progressed, but the crew dwindled till it was only Morton, Hicxs, and Dustin left. But soon the movie was put on hold while Morton went on tour across America filming and premoting for Tech N9ne, the number one independent rapper in the world, in 2008. After this he moved to Fort Walton Beach Florida. It was here that he met Matt, and Tracy started helping him film. But due to this move and the seperation from his crew, filming was slow going. It wasn't until December 2008 that filming began again when Morton flew back to Portland for a visit; though by this time only Hicxs reamined of the origonal crew. Together the two filmed for a month and almost compleated their movie. Upon returning to Florida, Morton added the finishing touches to the film with Matt and Tracy. Drunk Dumb Fucks, their first feature length movie was released on DVD on March 23rd 2010.

In the summer of 2011, Hicxs flew to Florida to begin production on Drunker Dumb Fucks(DDF2). In his month long stay, He, Morton, Matt, and Tracy filmed over half the film, but more was still needed. The following summer Hicxs returned to Florida where the crew finished the film. Drunker Dumb Fucks was released on November 6th 2012.

After a much needed break the DDF crew came back in early 2014 to complete their third movie, Really Drunk Fucks!! RDF was released on August 18th 2014 and featured even more guest stars than previous instalments.

“Unlike all the other art forms, film is able to seize and render the passage of time, to stop it, almost to possess it in infinity. I’d say that film is the sculpting of time.”

– Andrei Tarkovsky
